first and last line of
haikus have five syllables
middle has seven
The goal is simple: to write a haiku everyday about something in my life. It could be seventeen syllables on my day, the weather, plans, dreams - whatever. The point is to keep it short and sweet, but to try to write something every day. The motto: less is more. Just keep writing. When better to start than today?

waka (poem)
shrines along the road
worship what has come and gone
a moment in time
frozen for eternity
holding onto what was best
worship what has come and gone
a moment in time
frozen for eternity
holding onto what was best
